I probably need surgery but I don't have the pto and can't afford the min 4-6 weeks of downtime for it.

Plus.. despite the fact that I've gone down that road before with my shoulder I'm terrified of the prospect of surgery and pto and recovery.
My shoulder was a special case, mega-fucked, I'm lucky it works at all but.. what if surgery makes my hands worse?

I have a hard time explaining this to friends and associates. Plus like..

So... something that sucks about my body.

I used to text fuck a lot. I still enjoy even non-lewd roleplay stuff. But like.. we are talking several times a week at peak.

Now like.. I can't. Not often, even if I want to because lewd text fun and fapping basically guarantees my hands are unusable for the rest of the day and will be stiff and painful for the next day at minimum. Even just masturbation has the same result. Fun sexy times in meat space? Same shit.

Bleh.. only day off until Wed... was not relaxing.. tried do gamey things and just bored when my hands were cooperative.. now they hurt...because I abandoned games to clean... and then our elderly neighbor hand a tumble outside out door (using the washer) and I patched him up and carried him back to his place. There is blood all over the concrete and I have nothing to clean it up with or hands to do with and everyone else is asleep.

And I get to work 1pm-9pm tomorrow and Sunday..

Just did a bunch of switch config for a major build out and it wasn't a lot of typing but my hands feel.. tight and unpleasant around my wrists.. still 6 more hours to go.. I really just want to curl up in bed.. but there is kobold in my bed.. and i'm wfh.

Gods... this is why I generally work from home. The rest of my team are in other offices on the other side of the country so nobody minds much but holy shit having to do a remote standup and sometimes it was so damn loud in the office I couldn't hear my teammates while wearing noise cancelling headphones.

And then it turns out this is vm that was handed off to support, hosted on support owned vm hardware and migrated off Ops stuff in 2015.. and it wasn't even in the datacenter... now I'mma take a nap
