Food...
OMFGs... this tritip came out amazing...made a rub from minced garlic, kosher sea salt (large crystals) black pepper, red pepper and green pepper... trimmed most of the fat off it... rolled it in the rub and beat it in with meat tenderizer... then roasted it for 6 hours at 250F.... so juicy... tender and flavorful

3 hours of meetings... 2 and a half hour whiteboarding session...
10 hour work today......
And some how I'm turning into my team's persuader, organizer and evangelist SRE...
Fucking weird hearing my own words come out of upper management's mouth a few weeks after I talked about something... probably a good thing though... I hope.
Also exhausting... so much talking. Monday has 3 hours of meetings too....
Worst part is... I'd actually like to be in the office today...
bleh... paired my meetings down from 5 hours to 4 today....
by pushing one off until next week.

Property Manager: "SURPRISE DID YOU GET THE NOTICE ABOUT THE ROOF WORK?!"
Me: "Uhhhhh..."
PM: "OH THAT IS THE OTHER SIDE THIS WEEK BUT STILL WE NEED ACCESS TO THE GARAGE! WILL SOMEONE BE HOME TO LET THE PERSON IN?!"
Me: "When?"
PM: "THIS MORNING!"
Me: "I guess I'm remoting into my standup... required in person meeting isn't until.. 1.. "

@kistaro True! The most recent thing was that sort of situation. That being said, Taranima is definitely one of the easiest to work with artists I've ever commissioned on top of doing... uh... "really good stuff".
Getting more organized about how commission art helped me get over a lot my anxiety around it. Aka I keep some lists of ideas and artists I want to get something from because 90% of the time I'd pass up on a slot from someone I wanted something from because I couldn't come up with an idea in the short time frame they were open.. or I'd get the slot... and be completely blank on ideas.. which made for a nasty anxiety feedback loop.
