dreams (--)
I ran around on the set of a film, trying to get any of the crew to listen to me when I said "I'm hurting and I don't know what to do." I woke up with that phrase right on my tongue.
Yikes, brain, what is your problem? The Transliminal thing seemed like it was starting to heal up. Peg and I have started getting regular praise on Parallax. Dragons are awesome. We're fine, right? So what is your problem?!
Frankly, I would have preferred a proper nightmare with a monster or something.

@troodon Yeah, I'm figuring this is from the part of my brain that doesn't read memos.

@zebratron2084 y’know, two of the invidious things about emotional trauma etc is that it’s incredibly easy to anticipate more and any event as well as the anticipation can make that anticipation a habit. (Nobody worries consciously or not that good things might suddenly happen at any moment?)
re: dreams (--)
@Leucrotta Yeah, and trying to explain that to a subconscious that typically lags 3-4 months behind everything else is especially hard...
(Fortunately, this week has been a good exercise in "what if something just went RIGHT out of the blue?" If nothing else, I am DEFINITELY no longer worried that nobody gives a shit about Parallax. Apparently EVERYBODY was just waiting until they had enough story to figure out what the hell was going on. ^___^; )

@zebratron2084 the idea’s solid and the art style rocks. I think you’re going to get quite the fanbase!
