I can't believe I'm saying this, but I really don't *want* it to snow more. I'm just trying to get used to the new area and having to deal with "you know you just did the next best thing to moving to Alaska, right?" throws me out of *already* being thrown off.

Another thing here is; I'm really happy with how there's a lot of places I can hike or walk within an okay distance (by comparison to the Bay Area, where you'd need to travel about an hour to get anywhere good). Even *better*, I have potentially two friends who might walk places with me, most of my friends are fairly indoorsy people.

I was just starting to really get into that despite the bitter cold, but worrying about dodgy roads *and* bitter cold really screws with my mobility.

@Leucrotta If it's any consolation, this is usually a once or twice a year thing with Seattle, and the snowstorm coming up this weekend is NOT a normal occurrence...
