This was based on a fairly quick skim of 5e and your (most helpful) notes; I might have gotten some of the distinctions between Feats, Skills, Proficiencies, etc. confused, so lemme know if any of it doesn't total up right. n.n;

@zebratron2084 Okay, so, two errors here, but both easy mistakes to make. One is you can't Expertise a combat proficiency or a save; you can only Expertise actual Skills or Tools.
Number two is the math on the attribute spread didn't work out quite right since 5E doesn't really you take a stat lower than 8. If you'd like I can just math out a fix for that myself.
We should also pick out your rogue subclass, too!

@zebratron2084 Here's my slightly-revamped Stat Spread suggestion:
STR 12
DEX 16 (+1 from Lvl 4 ability improvement)
CON 16 (+1 from Lvl 4 ability improvement)
INT 14
WIS 8
CHA 14
This maths out slightly better per the base rules and also gives you a little more focus in your most important stats. STR 12/CON 16 definitely still gives the impression of a beefheaded lunk since I know you wanted that for this dingus.

@hystericempress That's fine, though I think I'm still attached to the WIS 7, even if it comes with penalties. ESPECIALLY if it comes with penalties. n.n

So drop Wis by 1, maybe bump Str by 1? That sounds completely fair to me. The only reason they even have that rule is so people in league play don't go 'every non-relevant stat is a 3 so I can maintain the bare minimum of sapience.'
