Just a reminder: every single prediction I see, left or right, friend or foe, humble or famous, goes into my "time capsule" folder. (If it's any consolation, the vast majority of it is news clippings.)

The capsule sees all. The capsule does not forget. I will never use the capsule to mock anybody, and in fact, I will probably never reveal the contents of the capsule to anybody but myself. But I reserve the right to make blunt and unflattering summaries of whatever I find there when it is unsealed.

The capsule is always there. It will be opened on January 1, 2021 no matter what happens. All bets shall be settled someday. All follies shall be seen and remembered, even my own. (I have already picked out quite a few laughably wrong predictions of mine from the 2016 capsule.)

January 1st is going to be a fascinating day.
