debating making my next character an acolyte devoted to dread Yeenoghu, the Beast of Butchery, who aids the party with wholesome acts and healing b/c nothing short of the tarrasque awakening causes more random bloodshed than 4-8 characters of levels 3-15 wandering through the dungeon

Fortunately, he's the only one who doesn't seem to get that a "hoard" of randomly generated ancient tomes in an non-Euclidean Sumerian library is not the sort of treasure that tends to attract teams of 4-8 characters of levels 3-15...
@Leucrotta @troodon Actually on reflection, that IS the sort of treasure that would attract SOME teams of 4-8 characters of levels 3-15.
But those teams of 4-8 characters of levels 3-15 would be the team of 4-8 characters of levels 3-15 equivalent of, say, us in high school versus everybody else in school. :p They'd be the adventuring equivalent of indie film fans. Which means they'd either be *real dangerous* or *real pathetic*, but either way you could probably talk 'em out of killing you.
