New Birdsite account's kinda lonely so far. Looks like everyone has their notifications turned off -- cause I don't *think* I've alienated that many of my friends... :)

Yeah, I see absolutely nothing that would mute or block a notification that someone new followed me... maybe it's on Twit's side that they restrict new account features for a while?

@JulieSqveakaroo Yeah, there is definitely some kind of fuckery going on on Twitter's part that was not going on when i last had a friends-locked account a few years ago
i hate corporate social media so much and thank god for masto where i can actively wish biblical plagues on jack dorsey without worrying a chunk of my social life will be burnt at the stake

@zebratron2084 I followed a while back and it still says "Pending". Maybe you need to approve something?
