my parents come along and remind me they LOVE the big bang theory and kick it all off all over again

My mother and step-father adore the Big Bang Theory. They find it hilarious. They think Sheldon is amazing.
They always tell me, "It's just like you! This all reminds us of YOU! They even go to a school that's supposed to be [REDACTED]!"
They don't understand why I get uncomfortable when they say this to me.
I prescribe one large dose of Hot Jones, ASAP.
