Also: Ligatures are fun. In the font I'm using, those lowercase F's paired off, making a neat little decorative fence sort of thing!
One could design an OpenType font to carry the ligaturisation (?) to each additional "f", making the whole line of them a single ligature, but would make any sense to do, or is the solution in that context to intentionally cancel them all once four or more are encountered—
