Shooting legislators is like that old prank where you try to talk everyone into dropping their books when the lunch bell rings.
One person doing it is NOT effective. You have to make absolutely sure you've got a lot of kids doing it all at once.
I know, I know, that sounds like a very strange basis for whether something is moral or not, whether enough people do it at once. But look at our history and tell me that's not how it works. 😒

@zebratron2084 The difference between a "crazed gunman" and "an armed militia" begins and ends with the number of people involved.
"Crazed gunmen" are treated in post as the human equivalent to natural disaster. "Oh the poor victims"
"Armed Militias" are what forcibly change governments or defend newly declared independence.
In the moment, both are considered acts of terror, of course-- and with good reason.

@mawr @zebratron2084 Sheesh. Back in the day, if you really wanted to send a message to tyranny, you'd get a bunch of your senator buddies and stab a mofo thirty-three times or so, right? Nowadays it's all this "lone gunman" bull.

I've been waiting for this to happen, much as a chess-club advisor might wait with amused anxiety, wondering if a 12-year-old is going to take Pawn To KN3 and walk right into that Fool's Ma-- oh, there he goes.
Stupid, stupid kid. Stupid, stupid Bernie kid.
