OK, I walked to a cafe in 90+° weather, worked on my queer sci-fi comic, then had a roast beef debris po' boy, came home, and sprawled out on the couch, where I'm now drinking a mango-chile craft lager.

You know, it ain't perfect... and there's that whole "flood" thing... but the New Orleans Reserve For Obstreperous Wildlife is a pretty nice place.

Well, just finished the ending sequence for the unfinished half of Parallax (I won't say which one) and made myself ugly cry in the middle of the cafe.

@mmsword It's... mixed. I do respect Adam Reed for admitting to himself he was getting bored with spy games, and I did kinda enjoy seeing Krieger being busted down to "wacky bird mascot" for a season. :>
