So I just made the mistake of reading the news immediately before getting started on my day job, which means I went straight from reading about DeSantis to seeing the new "SHOW YOUR PRIDE!" setting in MSWord on my work laptop.

And now I'm left with this unsettling and hollow feeling, like I just got a card in the mail from a distant wealthy aunt that reads "SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR IMPENDING GENOCIDE" with a picture of a sad cartoon puppy and a $5 gift certificate.

And it's not even signed.

I heard somewhere they ran "Automatic For The People" through it and got a song about a TV the size of a city block, it's hilarious! This thing's gonna put so many musicians out of work -- it copies their style perfectly for a tenth the price!

overwhelmed by work and the never-ending cat drama (current plotline: we have a human squatter next door and now HE'S accidentally trapping artie up there semi-daily)

mostly hiding out on discord, kinda happy to be away from anything resembling twitter tbh, mostly just been at the edge of depression and playing a lot, lot, lot of slay the spire, nova drift, and civ 6

peg and i have been a little squabbly and stressed but we're otherwise good, fought a little the other day but then she dragged me to a Frontline Assembly/Ministry/Gary Numan concert and i watched her dance for hours and that did miracles for our stress levels i think
