Crushing anxiety today. I know where it comes from, but it's one of those things where the list is dozens of items long, and half of them have already been resolved. I just can. not. get. the fucking warning lights to go off. Every bit of sensory input is maddening.

Several months ago, I sarcastically put the tag #GOPvalues on a tweet denouncing Ted Nugent for his incredibly shady sexual history (arguably including statutory)...

...and I think a bunch of trollbots seized exclusively on the hashtag, because it's taking off this week. I've had NINE "people" RT it today, every one of them MAGAdroids, not at all the sort of people you'd expect to have it in for Da Nooodj.

If this is all it takes to hijack the damn things, there is NO EXCUSE for us to be losing the psyops war. I sure intend to do my part.

Over a tipsy New Year's brunch, Peg and I finally hit on the emotional centerpiece for Chapter 2 of the Vek-10 story—so hard that I teared up.

It's going to require a critical success in Prog Rock Art, but I believe there are precisely three people on earth who could pull it off: Roger Dean, Matt Howarth, and my beloved dragon.

And yet again, I feel I must apologize PROFUSELY to all our characters for how it's gonna end up. Auntie Kirsch PROMISES, if our fans give us the luxury of doing all five chapters, it'll turn out all right in the end.
