Took down a right-wing bully on Reddit, who was arguing against "leftist idiot" healthcare policy by citing a study he didn't really understand, and I think there is truly no finer way to start the day. The flavor of Hayek-cultist blood is sweet on my tongue.

I've had some fraught and complicated relationships with lapines in the past year, but I am absolutely cheering for this little guy.

This Dutch Treat is certainly doing nothing to disabuse me of my belief that what we consider "magick" is little more than a neurological state.

(That is not meant to be dismissive of magickal practitioners, medicated or otherwise. A neurological state counts for a LOT, and skilled conjuration of such is an EXTREMELY important skill that is dangerously lacking today. A crusty old mystical-rationalist neurotheologist type like me might assert it's the only thing that counts at all.)

I resolved my tolerance issue by applying the Annie Sprinkle Principle: "The solution to bad $THING is not no $THING, it's good $THING."

So I got a quarter ounce of Dutch Treat so sticky my fingertips are still tacky just from brushing against it, and... yes, that is considerably better, thank you. I just needed to stop smoking my usual budget strains. (e.g. "Camden Kush," "Bong Salad," "PGA Classic," "Pet Smells," "REO Speedwagon," "John Deere," "Big Mixx," "Celery Diesel," et al.)

I'm still devotedly keeping the scrapbook of political articles I started in mid-2016. The main difference is that the filenames are slowly being dominated by entries like "excellent list of american atrocities by a condescending radical asshole." ;p

I'm so conflicted these days. Does it show? -_-
