re: mood snapshot (cw: short film w/extreme epilepsy risk)
(if it's any consolation, the purpose of this film is to both acknowledge the urge to "destroy," and dissolve it by reduction to semantically satiated nonsense -- basically, i'm so agitated today, i'm paradoxically so sick of being angry that i'm almost happy
still, Eating All Humans sounds pretty appealing right now)
mood snapshot (cw: short film w/extreme epilepsy risk)
picked the wrong week to stop sniffin' glue (cw: better drugs than implied by title)
Seriously, I might have picked the WRONG time for a tolerance break. Wanted to wait until payday, to maintain some vague pretense of fiscal responsibility, but... god, I'm just antsy and distractable and sullen and overcaffeinated and (despite Peg being 10 FEET AWAY and awesome) oddly lonely, and I swear I can feel my damn stripes vibrate. I hate them. I hate everything (except you). I hate matter. I hate energy.

NGL, this habit of "resolving" social injustice by saying "oh, we'll just reverse it and substitute new variables into the equation of who's Just Plain Crappy By Birth Now" is wearing real thin.
Once again, I'm stuck feeling that leftists are the absolute worst people on the planet except for centrists and the right. Can we widen that moral high ground gap just a BIT, social justice friends? Can we be a BIT less stereotypically Terran about all this? -_-

I wonder what it would take to impose a "stop and frisk" policy against American presidents, legislators, and staff?
"Excuse me, you've been acting suspicious since we elected you. We're going to have to ask you to empty your pockets and let us examine the contents. Hmmm, there seem to be an awful lot of Russian names in your phone contacts, I'm afraid we're going to have to take you down to the station."
This feels like a Guaraldi morning.
Five minutes later, the cheetah and gazelle met up behind a bush. "$150, usual rate." "Well worth the price. Thanks, Charlie, that was a close one."
this one is peggy's fault

re: parallax
Also, I promise this story will end up with a Happy Ending eventually, for some bizarre, psychedelic, and thoroughly inhuman definition of "happy." =^__^=
re: parallax
Like, I probably drew more from the separation anxiety, frustration, and disenchantment of the past year than is probably strictly healthy, especially with an intended audience of ages 14-18.
Oh, well, they have to learn sooner or later: love is a lie, people you care about change right out from underneath you and there's nothing to be done but moving on, and there are some strains that no friendship can possibly stand--even if you think you're immortal. -_-
parallax
The good news: I finally got past a major case of writer's block and wrote up the climax of the Mixolyne ("pretty goth fungus-druids") side of the story.
The bad news: I had to really stick the emotional knife into a very sweet ponyboy and birdboy, and twist it really hard, in order to do it. I'm starting to wonder if this story isn't going a little dark, but let's face it, there are mostly only dark emotional ingredients laying about these days. *shrug*
Thesis: everyone in furry is one of the three characters in this comic.
