Things that make me happy cry: The internet access code at this hotel is "safe". ;_;

Relationships, uncertainty, general vent post.

@IrisKalmia If you want to know more of the back story on this, or just talk about burnout in general on telegram or anywhere else later, please, please ask.

Relationships, uncertainty, general vent post.

@IrisKalmia Actually, I lied. I have one piece of hard-learned advice. Rest. I was being burned out really, really bad at a job that later fired me for said burn-out at the start of 2014, and it was fucking destroying my health and relationship. Even if it means losing a job, you *have* to find a way to rest and recover. >.<

To give you an idea, I was off work for 3 weeks, and it still took me more than a year to really function again.

@IrisKalmia Oh man, I feel you on this one too. I have a bad knee I injured in Freshman year of highschool, and it's fucking awful how even minor disability hurts your heart. :S

Relationships, uncertainty, general vent post.

@IrisKalmia *hugs tight* I'm halfway to Arizona bringing Dakota stuff right now, and will then flip back and drive all the way back to San Jose on Monday and Tuesday, so I totally feel you on the exhaustion there. D:

Regarding relationships, I can't offer much advice, aside from hugs and noting that a good therapist can really help. Pretty sure without Zoe's (our therapist) guidance, we'd have split up in horrible shape ourselves. >.<

Trauma, politics

I first learned what being triggered was when I saw Trump's body language in the second debate, and it screwed me up really badly. Scary to realize that that's even more exactly him. D:

Trauma, politics

Just ran into this quote from Politico, and it's my dad to a T.

"he’ll get mad at a specific staffer or broader situation, unload from the Oval Office and then three hours later act as if nothing ever occurred even if others still feel rattled by it"

He'd regularly explode, then go to the office for hours, even days (sleeping in his chair) and would come home like nothing had happened.

Violence (Poem)

Made myself write a little something re: Friday today. Not sure I captured it, really, but I tried. >.< zetasyanthis.deviantart.com/ar

I just found a poem that touches depression more deeply than any I've ever encountered. pianoweb.deviantart.com/art/My

CREEPY MOTHERFUCKER D:

@mawr Also, Evelyn and Sam came by and made sure I was okay. <3 In a way, a small part of you was here too, because I'd never have met them without you. <3

CREEPY MOTHERFUCKER D:

@mawr *hugs tight* We've both had a couple of rough days, hon. Hell the whole world has. It's okay. <3

Like, seriously, that did some real mental damage as far as feeling safe. >.<

Man, I have to tell you... After what happened to me on Friday, I am way on edge re: personal physical safety. D: Total hypervigilance mode. >.<

Just an FYI, I'm putting my poems up on Deviantart too, since I'm starting to try and reach a wider audience. :)
