Guess talking about empathy is a thing! XD
Attended my local OFA (organizing for action) group, chaired by the head of the local democratic club. 3x city council members were there, as were a couple folks from the board of education.
Oh... And I actually chimed in at the end re: the last speaker's talk, which involved mental health, and got no less than five "Are you going to run for office?" XD
And yeah, sorry, I did sketch it pretty lightly. Wasn't sure where I was going with that when I started. :P
Per the requests, this is the text on the top!
1. (This has the sketch pose.) Curled up on left-hand side in bed, kitty curled up on her arm. Sheets covering, tucked just below breasts, with a small travel pillow hugged by her right arm. Bare back, wings either not present or mostly out of frame. (Don't want them to dominate the image.)
2. Curled up on the bed, stomach and breasts swollen from an advanced pregnancy. Kitty curled up against back of neck. Thunderstorm raining outside.
Going to need someone willing to work with me on it a bit, and I'm willing to pay a fair bit to get it properly done. I need someone who can handle both scales and fur well. :) Boosts appreciated!

Hey guys! I know we're all happy that folks ejected neonazis from SF, Boston, etc... And that's awesome! But...
We need to *be* the next generation of leaders if we want this to really end. We need to join up and run for office and everything else.
Protests are awesome, and I absolutely support them, but we need to *enter* government too.
Otherwise, they'll just do what they want regardless. And we can all see how much damage that's doing right now. >.<

Hate to even ask, but does anyone else get that phantom physical abuse/being slaughtered thing where they can almost visualize and feel things?

I was in defense for almost 5 years, and this is *incredibly* devaluing. It fucking hurts like hell. >.<
I served on the civilian side and wouldn't compare my experience to a full service member, but I still have mental scars from that. >.<
And Arpaio? Every time I see the name Maricopa, I'm terrified. >.<

Between the trans military ban and the pardoning of Arpaio, I'm having a really bad night.
One of the traits of my anxiety disorder is that I often feel as though I'm being physically beaten and abused. Really bad tonight. >.<

I first learned what being triggered was when I saw Trump's body language in the second debate, and it screwed me up really badly. Scary to realize that that's even more exactly him. D:

Just ran into this quote from Politico, and it's my dad to a T.
"he’ll get mad at a specific staffer or broader situation, unload from the Oval Office and then three hours later act as if nothing ever occurred even if others still feel rattled by it"
He'd regularly explode, then go to the office for hours, even days (sleeping in his chair) and would come home like nothing had happened.
