Current mood; wish I could afford therapy. I’m still unsure how i feel about gender stuff, and it’d be good to talk about that as well as all the other progress I’ve made in the last 8 months.
@Leucrotta Hm, do you have health insurance that doesn't cover therapy? Far as I know they're supposed to.
If no healthcare, look into the free healthcare options in Cali?
I don't know, therapy's probably not as expensive as you might think.
@emanate MediCal but I don’t think it covers therapy? Which free healthcare would you suggest investigating, or not enough info to go on?
@emanate @Leucrotta Medi-Cal covers outpatient mental health, which usually means therapy. There should be a website you can look up w/ providers. If not some/most therapists reduce their fees for a limited number of patients who can't otherwise afford it (sliding scale)
