inadvisable drink
you ever just wonder what hydrogen peroxide tastes like
we're not going to taste it, we don't want to die
but i am curious what it tastes like

re: inadvisable drink
@monorail the stuff you can get at the drugstore is already heavily diluted--it's only 3% hydrogen peroxide--and it's still a really really bad idea to drink any of it

re: inadvisable drink
@Felthry ........can you dilute it more? :O
re: inadvisable drink
@monorail@glaceon.social @Felthry@awoo.space if you leave it out long enough, it turns into water on its own!
re: inadvisable drink
@monorail@glaceon.social @Felthry@awoo.space i imagine it doesn't have much of a taste besides "oh god it BURNS" haha
re: inadvisable drink
re: inadvisable drink
@monorail i guess so but it would still be very inadvisable to ingest a strong oxidizer like that
you'd get sick at the very least

re: inadvisable drink
@Felthry homeopathic hydrogen peroxide...
inadvisable drink
@Felthry I'd guess pain
re: inadvisable drink
@noiob very likely

re: inadvisable drink
@Felthry Apparently it has no taste, at least until it reacts to the everything in your mouth, at which point it gets a nasty aftertaste of dead bacteria (apparently it can be used as a gargle if you use small amounts of a properly diluted mix of 3% hydrogen peroxide and water)
re: inadvisable drink
@Kilroy i would have expected it to taste like pain, honestly!

re: inadvisable drink
@Felthry If you have any open sores it might sting a little? I've had mixed reactions with using it to disinfect a wound. Sometimes it just feels funny as it fizzes, sometimes it stings a bit. Guess it depends on how big/deep the injury is
inadvisable drink
@Felthry YES actually
It's a bad thing to swallow but you can use it as mouthwash
re: inadvisable drink
@Felthry can you dilute it with water
