(damnit, trying to check the name of the awesome little green marzipan cookies and they're not on Ikea's site. I seriously hope they still sell them, they were ridiculously good.)
@zebratron2084 YES! these are exactly the ones! https://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/categories/departments/food/25215/ lists them as oat based which is why I think I missed them. They're like the best thing Ikea sells, period.
@Leucrotta As far as I can tell, they're also known as punsch-rolls, dammsugare, arraksrulle, mergpijpje, or Træstamme. They might be slightly different recipes, though? You might be able to find something similar from another manufacturer if Ikea doesn't do them.
@Leucrotta Oh, be warned, Kafferep is just their general cookie brand, apparently-- I think what you're looking at are just separate oat biscuits, because I made the exact same mistake. :)
They're also apparently known as a 150-ohmer which is charming as fuck and just makes me think of @acetone_kitten and @Momentrabbit for some reason. :)
@zebratron2084 yeah I'm noticing the completely OTHER cookies sold as "Kafferep."
I love how all the gingerbread stuff is "Vintersaga." Like... VINTERSAGA. Is that bearded guys in spectacled helms having blood feuds in the Orkney islands? Is there a giant wolf feeding on the corpses? OR is it your wyrd to have some nice coffee and sugary cookies at 10 PM or so?
@Leucrotta Something like these? https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/products/food-beverages/pastries-desserts-cookies/kafferep-pastry-with-almond-paste-art-90389671/
