"Sci-fi: *robots will become so advanced that they will demand rights and then rise up when society refuses to acknowledge their humanity*
"Real life: *humans anthropomorphize the Mars rover so much that they cry at its goodbye message*"
@Leucrotta You know, that's a REALLY good point. I think the last 20 years of American politics have taught us something: when the Robot Uprising comes, it'll be because we treated robots _exactly_ like we do humans. >_<
@zebratron2084 Ever read RUR? It actually *starts* with the robot uprising as a labor thing - that there was this underclass of blue collars which just couldn't and didn't cope anymore. It basically ends with humanity being completely replaced because robots have figured out falling in love.
The whole thing strikes me as very uh, very Czech somehow.
@Leucrotta It's goodbye message was /SAD!/ Don't judge me! 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢
