This whole thing has me so keyed up for whatever reason, and I'm yet sleepy and all. glaaaagh how's that even work?

Sending affection and good thoughts out if you need it. Probably a little *too* twee of me, but I figure we could all use it.

@Leucrotta Seriously, how do you always manage to be so damn NICE in the face of all that anxiety you struggle with? I always find myself fighting off the urge to lash out at the world, when mine is bad, and I'm ashamed of it. *hugs tight*

@zebratron2084 answer; I’m not actually that nice. If I can remember to feel warmth and affection towards people while anxious, I feel that and I feel a little more connected to the rest of the world, so that helps calm me down a little. Selfish as well as selfless. (I figured this out by accident while trying to knock myself out with pot, so this is relatively new and I’m still not practiced at it.)

Besides, I don’t think “nice” includes the amount of grinding anger I feel on a regular basis.
