@foxwitch@queer.af @IrisKalmia okay, but I’m most familiar with DID/MPD as nomenclature. Please let me know if that’s changed, and I’ll use the new term, or default to plurality instead.

@Leucrotta @foxwitch@queer.af @IrisKalmia They're not actually mutually exclusive terms; the best way I can describe it is that MPD is a specific subset of plurality, where for whatever reason (internal system dynamics, usually), the whole thing starts to directly negatively affect one's life, beyond the consequences of how other people react to it.

@Thaminga @Leucrotta @foxwitch@queer.af @IrisKalmia Yeah, it's really cool to see how it manifests for everyone! It seems to be wildly different, but there's some core shared aspects.
