@DarkOverord I'm extremely guilty of this, whoops
Artist ramble, talking about others, a lil -
@DarkOverord It does in the beta UI, not on the original one though
letting FA turn it into a tiny potato quality JPEG feels dirty too though so hey, Scylla and Charybdis type of situation 🤷

@Thaminga God yeah I wish it wouldn't potato render. I don't even upload that high resolution and I still have to do the reupload trick.
OKAY, Furry Art Multiuploader has to but still X3
re: Artist ramble, talking about others, a lil -
@DarkOverord @Thaminga Remember when FA *used* to actually show at a small size by default? Now it... doesn't? It's so weird that they would undo that.
There's probably a setting to turn it off, but for those without an account, it's weird that "full view" is the default now.

@Taylor @Thaminga The problem (for standard FA, I and likely a lot of users don't use the beta) is the thumbnail view is *tiny* now. It made sense back in the pre-highspeed broadband days.
Whereas deviantART, Weasyl, SoFurry etc. will show a scaled preview to match your window and UI, with a click-through to show the full size which is def a better way of handling it.

@Thaminga In the end it's artist preference, but most people don't have 4k displays >.>;
This to be fair, is only really an issue on FA where it doesn't scale down a preview like EVERY OTHER SITE.
