Oh, the Vek-10 have gotten so much weirder since we published the pitch bible. XD Now they're something more like neurotheological space-priests who worship forcefields and rationalist ancestral goddesses.
They have shed about 50% of their Upward ancestry and gone oh so very very Moebius. XD (And oddly Talmudic somehow?!)

@indi I am forced to concede the point, because yeah, throw in a little bit of "God, they're like Captain Planet villains, they just consume EVERYTHING in their path and turn it into buildings" and that is pretty much how the Myxoline see the Vek-10.
It's fascinating how fast this is turning into a cosmic "sibling rivalry" tale, to the point where I'm borrowing from S3 of Fargo for plot points. The Myxoline = estranged "bad" kid of the Big Precursor Race, Vek-10 = the Favorite Child.

@indi Absolutely, and actually, the fact people are already playing up Opinions about the various sides is a huge proof of concept for our evil plans. I was purely delighted to see it, and I hope that I can make the Vek-10 at least half as maddening to the Mixolyne [we're still a little hazy on their final spelling, oops] as you anticipate.
