Friends, tell me about one of your favorite experiences playing games. #gameing
@noelle do TTRPGs count here?
@Leucrotta any game. :)
@noelle for a while @xurnami ran the first ever Pathfinder adventure path and it was awesome! Everyone involved wound up generating at least one epic gaming story, such as;
* it took us ages to figure out @wobblewuffess was so obsessed with gold b/c her sorcerer was dragon-blooded! She also got THE epic moment of the campaign; in her gold dragon form her breath weapon wouldn’t affect a red dragon foe so she grappled him and slammed both of them into the ground.
@noelle * @kelseyhusky played a deadly ranger who did barbecue on the side- sadly she could never convince the DM to let her fire small warhammers from her bow, I still think that’d be the best thing!
* @Valerie_Elysee played a swashbuckler on a quest to forge a new fighting style which combined orcish heritage with duelist finesse. But when we faced a brutal ogre work gang, they were the only ogre speaker in the group. Wearing the party’s Hat of Disguise, they persuaded and
@noelle * guilt tripped (ogres worry what their mothers think!) the ogres to leave without fighting... in a conversation that was half grunts!
* @mawr shielded her cleric’s identity so well we only figured out she was half elven late in the game!
There was so much in that campaign. The giant helmet we filled with treasure to carry it, the “-isha” name convention in lamias, the former ranger hold we retook and tried to make a prosperous community, the times
@Leucrotta @noelle That game was fucking epic. and it started off so innocently. A bunch of gnolls?(i forget what they actually were. they might've been goblins) invading a community party and singing their theme song while trying to crash the festival and break crap just cause they wanted to be nuisances.
@kelseyhusky @noelle goblins! The guys who wrote the module went through the effort of writing an equivalent to “Down, Down to Goblin Town!” https://youtu.be/ogTDa-vG2MQ
