Can someone give me a huskybot prompt or question? I wanna keep fleshing myself out, and I come up with my best ideas when someone asks me something I haven't considered yet!

(actual question: how do huskybots handle backups?)
@kelseyhusky What particular rhymes or reasons exist in your color scheme and the proportions in which those colors appear on you?
How do huskybots look?
@ElectricKeet Depends on which generation of which platform we're talking about! Some of them had high-res vari-chromatics baked into the exterior plating, so that they could be any color or pattern on a whim. But with advancements in plate fabrication, KA goes the simpler route of on-demand color changes, printing new plates to fit new designs as needed. Generic plates are stored for re-use, while unwanted custom ones are recycled for materials.
Currently, most platforms have a standard single color, with either a contrasting or complimenting color as accents on either the edges of each plate or just as needed for individualism.
All platforms have component servicing markings and hazard markings as needed ("Caution: Hot" around jet vents and radiator vanes, hoist points and cable attachment points are also called out. Edges around joints are called out as pinch points.
Platforms that work together often will coordinate their color schemes for rapid identification and solidarity. Packs within packs.
@kelseyhusky Repair facilities? Where are they, how do they get supplied? What are they outfitted to repair? When do they give up?
How do huskybots get fixed?
Gateway has multiple repair bays, in each major sector. The bays are sized for each class of platform. They are supplied using automated mining drones that harvest materiel from asteroids and other lifeless orbital bodies in the star systems surrounding Gateway. Some bays are unmanned, using assembly arms and automated fabrication, 3D-sintering/resin laser printing, and mechanical machining for manufacturing standardized parts. Other bays are staffed by functioning platforms, but those are also used for Gateway's ships, shuttles and equipment repairs. Those bays are also offered to Gateway's visitors, and are available for commission on a negotiated fee structure.
The bays give up after confirming the timestamp of the latest backup from the platform has synced through Packnet. New platforms can be built. The data is the important part.
Doing some major deep diving into huskybot lore today. Answering burning questions and trying to keep all my headcannon continuity straight! The more questions you ask, the more I can tell you! This is so much fun y'all!
