Magic, Imposter Syndrome
The problem with my path as it exists is that there's nobody around who can really tell me "yes you did the thing." There's no external confirmation. I feel like the guy in Ultra-Spiritual Life saying, "Can you see how the moon and me are the same thing?" while he's getting his vine on. I have only my own confidence that I'm not flying away into space to hold me down.
I _have_ that confidence. I just wish I had more than that, sometimes.

@literorrery With my own lack of expertise, my opinion probably won't mean much. I can't verify mastery, but I can verify the strength, care, sincerity, and thought you are putting into the journey and I know from experience that the latters are always needed for the former.

@literorrery I'm probably preaching at the Archbishop here, but purely out of curiosity, have you ever read Drawing Down The Moon? That book did a lot to help me get over my DIY jitters.
