In that same bracket, I'd even favor Mollweide over Winkel Tripel, based more than anything on my personal appearance that WT looks weird. Eckert IV beats it going into the final, though.

There are so many ways you could judge this layout. Data integrity of course, but also practicality, aesthetic appeal, user experience....

The first rounds are kind of a blowout, except for the matchup of Waterman Butterfly v. Mollweide. As a data nerd I kind of love Mollweide, but it also seems a shame to knock out Waterman Butterfly in the first round.
