@anthracite "Except for: Boston; Peoria; Gary, IN; and Seattle, WA within 2.3 miles of the Bezos Balls. These cities have no discernible magic."
HEY now. I live, through no fault of my own, within four blocks of the Bezos Balls. Yeah it's a pretty unmagical place but I'm doing my best to fill it back up. :-D
@emanate @anthracite You're fighting the good fight, sib.
@emanate @zebratron2084 @anthracite also, the Balls themselves have that 60s future look to them. I'm hoping that Amazon gets broken up by anti-trust legislation and that the Balls wind up being repurposed.

Yeah, already pondered how excellent they'd be at being actual greenhouses to produce food. :-)
@zebratron2084 @anthracite If San Francisco has any magic at all, it's about what persists despite generations deciding they'd go there to make a quick buck and leave. I'm not sure I *want* to know what sort of magic Oakland has, but I'm damn sure it's magical.
