@green @kara@occult.camp @chalcedony@octodon.social Did I ever tell ya about the one in Boston who snap-diagnosed me as a pathological narcissist because I (a) said I spent a LOT of time roleplaying online (b) admitted I spent a lot of time worrying what other people thought about me (c) was really fantasy-prone. Never mind the fact I spend MOST OF MY WAKING HOURS worrying about all the ways I may have hurt my friends. :|

@kara@occult.camp @chalcedony@octodon.social @zebratron2084 also for some reason thinking about mental health professionals is making me think about keeping ball pythons as pets??? WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK, MY BRAIN.

@Soreth @kara@occult.camp @chalcedony@octodon.social @zebratron2084 this is definitely true of cats. I've had vastly many more fruitful, productive, and positive therapy-hours from cats than I ever have from humans.

@zebratron2084 @chalcedony@octodon.social @kara@occult.camp uuuggggggghhhhh. yeah, therapy is a damn crapshoot. and when you realize/remember that most therapists went into that career branch because they once needed therapy, MUCH BECOMES CLEAR.
