Hi welcome to Krissy, the land of endless introspection! Identity? Expression? Symbolism? Kinks? Especially those, tbqh.

@Thaminga Myu!! *Smoooosh*

ageplay but also identity

I guess that's one of the reasons I love trickster types, too. Being silly and strange, viewing the world very differently from standard adults. And also fae... being able to have been around, to have had experience and understand some stranger truths.. but also to be able to not have experienced everything, to still be new at things, and still have that young wonder. The eternal child.

There's always been this huge focus in my kinks of wanting my partner to just tell me what they are envisioning me as. It doesn't need to be a transformation, though it's certainly fun to 'discover' that it's happening.

Observation about Mastodon vs Birdsite

@mawr I am personally reminded of early twitter. Where it kinda felt like a space I could just put myself out there and... be.

kink - ageplay but also vent

So I feel like I'm in some liminal space between being a kid and being an adult. Not even teenager like, just... Nowhere, really. I guess that sorta contributes to why I want my partners to sorta help define me, I guess... to tell me I *am* something, to reaffirm a place that I'm allowed to be.

I tend to actually have issues conceptualizing my own age. Because I never feel like an adult but I feel like I need to do adult things. I've been at least good at not requiring I give up kid-like things to be mature, but I've still felt the pressure to be the smart, in control one for others. To be mature to lead. To be the mom. So I feel so conflicted, like I'm trying to have it both ways.

kink - species expression, ageplay

Maybe drabunnies just... age super super slow, cause of dragon genes interacting with bunny person genes. It takes like 50-100 years to be even a teenager to a drabunny. That'd explain why I always feel so kid-like.

Show thread

I tend to use the term 'drabunny' and 'bunny' interchangably. I think because I tend to keep my dragon side in most of the time. It's not even supposed to come in til later in life!

But I could be way softer >.>

"Names blurred out to protect the innocent" - but on a picture with no names (or only one) blurred out.

discourse - reverse racism - explanation

For those who are wondering what even happened: Mostly it's just people talking loudly, now. Somebody in the fediverse made a few heated remarks about reverse racism/cisexism/etc on their way out of the platform. They have since deleted the messages and even the majority of the toots on their account, far as I can tell.

discourse tagging

@Felthry It's tough, sometimes. And we're so inundated with the negativity sometimes that it can be overwhelming. It's alright to need a break. It's alright to need to step back. And it's alright to learn from other people's words. If they help you to take care of yourself and your impact on others? Then that sounds ideal to me.

discourse tagging

Thank you, awoo-ers in particular, for being so good about tagging it. This is something I always hated about Birdsite, that you couldn't avoid it when you were having a bad time. If I had something to say, I had to hope I used a word they'd blocked if they weren't up to hearing it.

Now I can participate on my terms, and others can as well.

Stay safe out there

discourse - reverse racism

And I want you to look at that carefully!!!! Do you see how I even word the side I don't agree with? How careful I am not to strawman? I make you sound reasonable! I differentiate between "actively harmful" and "unintentionally harmful". That doesn't stop the harm, but I still do recognize the attempt. I do!! But you need to pay more attention. You need to stop making these comparisons. Please.

discourse - reverse racism

I mean... I guess the simplest explanation is just... Look. It's not the same. The threats aren't the same on both sides.

"Get a thicker skin" is sent to people receiving literal death threats aimed at them based on circumstances of birth
"Don't treat all of us like some of us treat you" is sent to people sending out very general complaints based on lived experiences and behaviors of others.

Like... I'm not sure how else it can be described.

turing drawings

@Thaminga That is hella pretty
