@AdalwinAmillion @knightly (part 2) stable economy, social equality, cooperation with other countries, and so on, and so on.
I used to think socialism could be a better idea, but after analysing economy, GDP and social situations in Poland after overthrowing communism in 1989, and GDP in Russia after adapting market economy in 1990, I came to conclusion thatthe fastest way to progress is still market/free market/mixed market. /ramble over, thanks for listening
@knightly @AdalwinAmillion (part 1) America used to be the symbol of freedom (MANIFEST_DESTINY), so I am not surprised. I am european, even if I have american citizenship (double citizenship overally), so I look at political values more by political standards (example: Sanders being considered far left by some americans, and centre-left/left in Europe).
I guess in politics I try to prioritise choices that I think will lead to lessening the wage gap, better welfare, fast growth (...)
@AdalwinAmillion *is actually neither a communist, neither a socialist*
Dont kill me :P
Alot of popular people might have controversial opinions. I guess I can see his point, but in the end he does not account all everyday factors. He's one of the richest people in the world, so its no surprise he does not fully understand the struggles of not having money.
Dont let a drop, a gallon, or even few tonnes of ink color the whole ocean. I know why you're upset, I dont blame you, just dont lose the bigger picture. I just wanted to remind you that
@AdalwinAmillion Isnt everyone here a furry

@AdalwinAmillion I dont think so
After learning more about civil and common law, I realized that one of the main goals in Phoenix Wright game series since Apollo Justice was to promote common over civil law. I feel like that opinion is further supported by the fact that the Ace Attorney series originated with intention to expose Japan's unfair juidical system
@AdalwinAmillion (earrape warning)
@AdalwinAmillion I'll get a n g e r y
Nationalists and racists
So 2 days ago in Poland there was a holiday in which we celebrate regained independence after 123 years without it - And there is usually a parade/march sort of thing. Let's just say it was called one of latest nationalist/racist biggest meetings. People of that sort met there from few nearby countries
What happened to Poland that fights for freedom? What happened to our care for minorities? Openess to others?
It just makes me sad and frustrated -3-
@Leucrotta I quite agree. Part of why I'm studying economics, is so that I can understand it all better, and maybe realize what can be done to improve it all.
I have a friend in Denmark, who explained how their economy work, and it sounds appealing. Mixed economy - very high taxes, very good quality of welfare, and generally happy populace. So I feel like that's a good example of a system that is worth taking notes from
