randomly remembered reading a fanfiction years and years ago where for *some* reason, the author decided that j wasn't a valid letter, so every single instance of the letter j was replaced with dsch

we know now that dsch is how that sound would be spelled in german, but this was english

@ziphi With care, you could probably arrange things so that the telescopes aren't sensitive to the frequencies being used by the transmitter. It would probably still render them unusable while it's in use, but it might not break them.

small engine differences aren't that important considering you're, iwrc, limited to singleplayer anyway, so there's no risk of a desync (which does *so many* weird things in gen 1 and 2)
