apparently Intel released their first desktop GPUs like a week ago, and it looks like the higher-end ones are coming out soon

what's particularly interesting is the price point--it looks like their gpu that's competitive performance-wise with nvidia's rtx3060 is slated to be around $400

@starkatt Now that you mention it, I wonder why we don't ever hear anything about Indian car manufacturers; you'd think they'd have several. Do they just not export, I guess?

Same goes for Chinese, though I think the mostly-undeserved western reputation of China as "where cheap junk comes from" would make any export attempts rather unsuccessful so that one makes sense
