@patchwork I've done floating limbs a lot in the past, it's just a real cozy sort of shape
-F

@patchwork fluid and extensible sounds excellent to me

ddi you see this picture from cervelet the other day?
furaffinity.net/view/49083655/

@patchwork I was thinking something like the new search panel, personally! something in the program itself, not exported from it, that lets you navigate the schematic hierarchy while able to see all the parts (or all the parts in certain subsets, like just the ICs or just the resistors or something) and their properties

i guess i'm thinking of basically some enhancements to the property editor
-F

@patchwork this is the kind of BOM that i wish KiCad had as a feature

do you have a link to the github in question? It might be worthwhile to mention this to the KiCad devs, see if they might be able to make the built in BOM stuff a bit easier to handle

it's weird how *restrictive* a condition it is for a function to be holomorphic, considering how most everyday functions are holomorphic almost everywhere
-F

@pup_hime i'm almost certain that's how it works for PCI, I'm just not as sure abotu PCIe
-F

@pup_hime but considering that PCIe is point-to-point, not a bus, the addresses would probably be based on which lanes a card uses, and thus again based on which slot it's in
-F

@pup_hime Aren't they determined by the slot the card is in?

I'm not sure if that's the same for PCIe, but I'm pretty sure it is for PCI at least

final fantasy xiii spoilers

you could say that the main cast of final fantasy xiii are all bartenders

considering they ended a bart
-F

we got an email from the doctor's office we went to a while ago saying we owe them $15.41 for the visit

this would be perfectly normal and not worth commenting on except for the fact that the email also suggests payment plan options "such as $15.41/month for 1 month"

re: brain output

@rey It isn't Roosevelt Island though
-F

@trysdyn Magical Starsign starts out this way too, maybe not as much. And this one *does* get high stakes by the end, but I feel like Trails in the Sky should be mentioned for being, essentially, a 60-hour prologue that still manages to be an engaging story nonetheless
-F

also apparently they call their delivery drivers "delivery experts"

that is very... i don't know what, corporate-speak

Show thread

we were just reminded of the north american box art for suikoden and, yeah it's still as bad and unrepresentative of the game as it was last time we looked at it

it looks like a cheap sword-and-sorcery fantasy novel from the 70s
-F

i would like to know, why exactly is the domino's website so *heavy*
-F

@Nine i don't know how we'd feel about someone else using those names, so don't consider those as name suggestions, just you talking about pokemon naming got me thinking
-F

@Nine We always try to have a vulpix *and* a growlithe both named Rosemary, and a quilava named Felthry. we haven't played a pokemon game since he showed up but we'd probably also name a mightyena alaric
