re: You just gotta love the market for digital goods.
@Draekos i went to check ebay since ebay prices are usually a bit better and it looks like it's actually a lot better? they've got it here for $40 https://www.ebay.com/itm/333997903214

@Kintsugisys Glad to have you here!
-F/R
@codl Apparently, it's from a brand name, named because it was sold alongside pocket folders that they called "trappers" because they were designed to hold documents more securely than a normal pocket folder
-F
@Caudle It's a word we would personally associate with like... medieval reenactment stuff, shakespearean english, that sort of stuff. It's not something we tend to hear in modern english, but not something we'd necessarily raise an eyebrow at.
-R
@codl Those seem. Incredibly dangerous if used as intended, and still somewhat more dangerous than normal roads if not
-F
@trysdyn Xillia also, I think. Though It's been a long time since we played that.
-R
@trysdyn If you want a Tales game with a good protagonist, try Vesperia next. Vesperia and Berseria have by far the best protagonists in Tales games, I think
-F
@fluxom_alt these are really cute!
-F
@hi_cial Caesar Augustus did this too, that's literally the entire reason the Aeneid exists

@iBolt07 the way i explain mine is "i don't know what my gender or sexuality are and honestly i don't care"

re: pokemon sv
@LexYeen mine was just for the humor--yours is just cute 💚 love that

pokemon sv
the pokemon sv pokedex gives information on where pokemon live with some more detail than most pokemon games
we are trying to find a leafeon, whhich has the note "likes being near trees"
as it turns out, the areas where leafeon can be found are also areas where sudowoodo can be found
this gives me a silly character concept: leafeon who's best friends/SOs with a sudowoodo, but the sudowoodo is terrified the leafeon will find out they're not actually a tree (the leafeon already knows and doesn't realize they don't know they know)
-F
@TalonTide aww, they look just like one of our parents' cats!

@trysdyn Do play Symphonia before any of the later ones though. That one's missing a feature all the rest have and it feels painful not to have it when you go back to it after playing Vesperia or Abyss.
-F
@trysdyn Zestiria is well known for being.... not great, so i wouldn't blame you for skipping it.
Symphonia feels a lot like Eternia, then it goes off into its own thing. Berseria and Arise grew out of a mechanics rework they did starting with Graces (still one of the more satisfying ones to play) and Xillia. Everything between Eternia and Graces is just more refinements on the same theme.
