Alternatively, Soma Cruz could represent the series. Aria of Sorrow was one of the most well-received games in the series, after all.

Personally, I think the main motif of this piece is its best part. The slow, extravagant melody contrasts with the driving harmony and percussion to properly set the mood. It's very fitting, if you know who the final boss of the game is. No spoilers here though!

A properly climactic piece for the final dungeon, this piece alternates between grandiose, intense segments with strings and brass, and slow, pensive ones with woodwinds and strings. During the intense sections, the music has a driving rhythm, pushing the party on towards the final battle; but during the slower segments, it seems to take a moment to reflect on the journey that led them there.
