finally, we've found some they actually have in stock that will work for it
turns out using welding cable to wind it is probably a bad idea though so now we need to find out where to buy litz wire or something
or just make our own by braiding magnet wire or something? _that_ sure sounds like a pain

i've often been able to successfully explain Sonas, fur or otherwise, to people outside of the (generally queer/furry) culture with:

it _is_ eight cents cheaper, though..... is that sufficient justification to use the neat looking one though

unfortunately it's substantially worse performance than this much less stylish and more ordinary (and smaller, too) one so it's probably not being used in the project
