I'm really interested in learning what thought processes lead to people making certain unconventional phrasing choices in english when they're not very familiar with the language but I don't know of any polite way to ask people about that, especially given that the people who make those kinds of phrasing/word choices are not usually the best at communicating in english
why do video games sometimes get north american releases but not european ones, or european releases and not NA ones
I get that a european release may mean more languages to translate it to, I guess, but an NA release only needs english (french and spanish are bonus points though) which an EU release also needs anyway
and now people got me thinking about connector design and now I'm thinking it'd be nice to be able to lock together connectors of different sizes; you can put the powerpole connectors together into a block of connectors but they have to all be the same size connector, which you might not want
not sure how you'd engineer that though
