got a box set of the digimon anime series (it was important to us as a kid) and it doesn't have subtitles. Bleh. I don't know if it's a bootleg (got it on ebay for half the price it goes for on amazon, and it has really cheap dvd cases) or if it's the official one but really, subtitles are important people

need some help; does anyone out there know what good brands are for replacement dvd cases? kinda curious because a tv show box set we got came with extremely low quality dvd cases and we might want to replace them

they're 8-disc cases which i imagine complicates things a bit

they're not dvd-rs though, proper pressed discs, so who knows

would want to replace the cases but this is four 8-dvd sets and i dunno how easy it is to get good quality replacement cases for 8-dvd sets

not sure whether this dvd set we got is bootleg or not... the dvd cases are made of some unusually cheap (and smelly) plastic

Reminder that http://www.thistothat.com/ exists and is quite useful when you need to glue a thing to another thing but aren't sure what's best for the materials in question

we used to get spam phone calls maybe once a week and it was manageable

suddenly we're getting two to five calls a day, sometimes in rapid succession, always from different numbers, of a recording claiming to be the social security administration and claiming they've "suspended our social security number" whatever that means

how do people handle this

we signed up for the do-not-call thing but that apparently takes a month to go into effect

occasionally i think about how asian cuisines just don't have cheese and wonder about whether some type of cheese could improve any asian dishes.... and i can't think of any that it would

challenge: name one food that is not improved by the addition of either a) chocolate or b) barbecue sauce
