i'm just thinking about how this might have played out in game and just. thinking about a character who's a centaur but somehow never noticed

randomly remembered a story we read years ago on tumblr about a d&d game where one of the characters suddenly retroactively became a centaur because it was noticed they'd been wearing barding the whole time--and the player had just assumed that barding meant some kind of armor for bards

fun fact: a very common rocket fuel used by amateurs for model rockets is called "rocket candy" and is made in a process basically identical to making candy, and all of its ingredients (sugar and potassium nitrate) are technically edible

It is a *lot* of potassium nitrate though (about twice as much as there is sugar) so it probably wouldn't taste that great
