I really appreciate character designs that do weird things with gender. Explore the furthest reaches of identity!

never really understood why they don't just mirror the artwork for manga in the localization and instead have you read it right to left, which is backwards when reading most (all?) indo-european languages

seriously can someone tell me if i'm just missing something here and their argument makes sense?

social interaction is hard, baffling interaction with someone in a group chat

someone said something about "unicode in the 70s" and i attempted to politely point out that unicode didn't exist until 1987 at the earliest and then they started arguing, saying what i can only interpret as that because unicode intends to represent all human writing that all human writing can be considered to fall under the umbrella term unicode and just

no??? ??? ??????

when i try to explain the fact that unicode is a specific entity that did not exist before the late 80s they respond by saying i'm focusing too much on the coding and engineering side of things and ignoring the linguistics and humanities and just

that's a non-sequitur right?? i'm not missing something here????

also not sure why it said this since we're on the latest version of waterfox. maybe it's a version or two behind firefox or something

why is it that a minor illness can leave us feeling like total garbage

What level of fluffiness are you?

i don't remember where we read it, and we aren't sure whether it's true, but we once read that the -ard ending seen in words like bastard (which hasn't been productive in centuries) has a similar meaning to the current -ass ending seen in words like smart-ass

therefore "wizard" just means "wise-ass"

Seems people mostly agree that the o is /oʊ/ or /oː/, but there's disagreement on whether the l is /l/ or /ɫ/. Interesting!

Does anyone here own the "Moscow Nights" game compilation released only in Europe? It appears that a bunch of games it contains haven't been archived.
