Last time, we rescued a doctor from a cave-in and found ghost-statues of five of the six Priests of Ys. Unfortunately, the cave-in that trapped Doctor Flair seems to have blocked off access to the last priest statue! Time to figure out what to do now.

Ys II: Ancient Ys Vanished: The Final Chapter continues at 11:00 AM CDT (UTC-5) (two hours and twenty minutes from the time of this posting)

why does everyone asking questions on the electronics stack exchange seem to not understand the difference between Wh, W, and W/h, or between Ah, A, and A/h

what's the origin of the pagliacci joke anyway

we've only ever seen it through at least one layer of assuming-you-already-know-the-context

ph+, maybe gross

well, went to the doctor and it turned out that everything is, in fact, fine, and we're just extremely constipated. Going to try a laxative and hopefully that helps

really kinda want to design and build a relay computer.... that'd be pretty damn neat

power hungry as fuck of course but *clickclickclickclickclickclickclick*

mh- as a result of ph-

super, super stressed about this weird pressury feeling in our lower gut

really worried it's going to be like, appendicitis or cancer or something

and the stress from that is making it really hard to do anything else

an apparatus is basically just a fancier version of a thingy

what exactly is the definition of a cottage anyway

an apparatus is basically just a fancier version of a thingy

The nintendo switch (non-lite) dpad is

is it just us or is discord down for anyone else

ph-, mh- (catastrophising) as a result

feeling a weird pressure (but not pain) in our gut since last night that is probably just indigestion but can't get it out of our head that it's appendicitis or something

also we don't have any medicine for that right now

and if you compare this to the not extremely precise ones (but still pretty precise!) in the same package and same resistance... $11.40 gets you five *thousand* of these, for less than the cost of *one* of the ultra-precise Vishay ones

when you think about the economics of electronic components it can feel a little weird

$11.62 for an extremely precisely cut and packaged piece of very thin aluminum foil, only a few milligrams of metal in the thing (0805 resistors typically weigh 5 grams per thousand, counting the plastic part)

the price of these is almost 100% cost of manufacture. the cost of materials, even using highly-purified aluminum and copper, is minuscule

i am amused that digikey has an "Accessories" section in almost every category

I looked in this one and it's all mounting hardware for chassis-mount power resistors, which makes sense

you just don't think about "resistor accessories" much

Moze engaging in a bit of multitasking. They're still young and can't keep shapes like this up for long, just because it's just hard to keep everything coordinated. When it works, though, it works well.
