people being... something? somewhat amusing
saw an interesting question (on whether legal documents can be copyrighted) in the sidebar of stackexchange and reading the answers encountered someone arguing with someone else that because they're in the US and they "couldn't care less" about any laws outside the US, their statement that no legislature is copyrightable is somehow "factual" despite the fact that legislature frequently is copyrighted by the government that instated it, just because legislature can't be copyrighted in the US
i'm not sure how "I don't care, therefore I'm right" makes any sense whatsoever but i find it somewhat amusing that someone actually tried to argue that?

tasty, but physics seems to have gone all weird.

there, that should fix it.

odd linguistic observation
it seems like a lot of people for whom english is not their first language have a tendency to say "substract" instead of "subtract"
we've noticed this both in teachers and fellow students we've known at university, and some math videos on youtube as well
I wonder where that comes from? is -[V]btr[V]- more difficult to pronounce than -[V]bstr[V]-?
