like, the sobel x kernel is just a sort of d/dx, and the y kernel is a sort of d/dy, so what you're computing is basically a gradient

how many possible games of tic-tac-toe are there? i thought it would be 9! at first but then realized that some games last fewer than nine turns (one player wins)
