someone told us that the percussion sounds we can't stand are generally called 'synthwave percussion' and can someone please tell us why this is so popular when it's almost literally painful to listen to

i was talking the other day about how mezzanine connectors are neat and we've never used them before

we ordered the pcbs today but we are still never going to have used them before because it turns out a board stacker was a more suitable option

feeling guilty a lot because most of what we're doing at work so far is saying "we need to get this $800 piece of equipment and this $5000 piece of equipment and this $400 collection of parts and this $10000 piece of equipment and"

i mean they brought us on knowing that this would happen and we'd be getting a ton of equipment, we're setting up a test lab from scratch but

still feel guilty for all the money we're asking them to spend

i like how in the ys series, rather than forcing adol into things (though it does that too), they just took the idea of an adventurer and ran with it

adol's main motivation is exploring and learning about places and people

he's not seeking gold or revenge or anything, just adventure

the fact that lemonade is a kind of soda outside the US is just kinda weird

It's really weird to think that lead-acid batteries are generally considered more eco-friendly than large lithium batteries of equivalent capacity....

The reason is that lead-acid batteries can be almost entirely recycled; recycling the lead isn't very different from extracting lead from its ores in the first place, and thee acid can also be cleaned up for reuse
