A person who's wanted to have their head detached for *years*, and finally gets hooked up with a mage who can make it happen
They have their head(s?) removed and proclaim that they will never reattach it again--and they go through with that. They could easily reattach their head, and there are times it would be easier, but they don't.
Maybe if they end up on Anze, they'd have a bunch of bodies, but only ever keep the one head

i am confused and rather upset
a longtime friend of ours apparently decided yesterday to cut contact because they "just found out about you and [other person]", where [other person] is someone they don't get along with but who we've kept in touch with and still consider a friend
i don't even know what happened to get them to dislike [other person] so strongly in the first place, we don't want to pry into things like that and neither of them ever seemed to want to talk about it

Another break from the ongoing story because I felt like drawing an original character. This one is Jacci (pronounced "ya-chee"), a taxi driver in Elseways, taking fares around the city to places that aren't well-served by the subways. Their two heads speak with different pitches but share a mind, and like about 5% of the city's population, they're neither male nor female.
