today we learned: there are people out there who find a 15" laptop to be too big

we do not comprehend this mentality, 15" is too *small*, we need a 17" one minimum (and i don't think they come bigger)

also we don't have a keyboard we can connect to the steam deck, which is annoying

we just have the one usb keyboard and it's usb type a, which the deck has no ports of

- great, the notoriously arcane and hard to maintain linux distribution
- but also it looks like epsxe and pcsx are both available for it as pre-packaged, uh, packages

we need to get some emulators installed on our steam deck, with the disappointment of the recent chrono cross remaster being just a bad emulator on the original i want to just play the original

we *have* the psx disc but it'd be nice to play on a portable system

and no we are not getting one of those weird psone screens

thinking about how it seems like there's a lot of stuff on youtube etc trying to explain big O notation to people (which youtube keeps recommending to us for some reason), when it feels like such a simple and basic concept to us, probably because we already understand it fine

Lesson learned today: If dremeling FR-4, always be sure the side of the dremel wheel that touches the board is the side that is moving downward, unless you like the idea of fiberglass dust all over you
